In an experiment in delegation, via crowd-sourcing, I checked out 99designs.com to come up with 3 different versions of a logo: for business cards, Pocket Guide, and web. I wanted something that would work on a personal and business level, both aviation and angel investing interests. This is the winning entry (web version) out of the 99 that were submitted. Feedback appreciated...
The process at 99designs.com went smoothly enough. You might want to try it for some of your design needs.

Hello Michael,
ReplyDeleteThe logo looks great and seems to perfectly match your personality.
I am a fellow 99 Designs fan as well and very pleased with them.
Looking forward to hearing more about your venture investments and how entrepreneurs such as myself can become part of your deal flow.
Best,
-Ritesh
I really bloody love the end result! You did an awesome job, can't believe you did it in one hour. I really love when logos have a strong, clear symbol instead of all those text and type based logos around. An art director once told me one simple rule; make sure your logo fits into a small square at the right top of a page.
ReplyDeleteGreat article, but winning a contest on 99designs isn't only based on luck... Picking a serious and quality contest is the key to success.
